Any small broker with little overhead can shine in these times by undercutting the big brokers customers and at the same time pay more than what these big brokers are offering to trucks. You must remember that these mega carriers and brokers make their bread and butter of volumes of loads available, when the volumes dry up so will their businesses and they end up panicking by posting 85cent a mile load

Iowa Farms can't move their hogs. It is so bad I have a friend who is euthanizing his new litters. Packing houses in Iowa are shutting down to clean. Most of Iowas covid infections are in the packing houses because of the close work environment. The situation is pretty bad here. Hogs are the staple of the Iowa Economy.
