The problem with Covid is that the individual red cells get non functioning and dump the metal iron into your lungs while you accumulate waste gases and starve of oxygen at the same time by degrees. It takes your system to generate a pint of blood cells 8 weeks give or take. Two days for plasma out of water in volume. We only have about 10 pints in the body or 8% of your body by weight give or take.

One possible path to save a person who is dying of oxygen starvation progressing to absolute organ failure system wide is to drain all of the infected blood, and infuse rapidly 10 pints of uninfected blood. The lung damage is another problem entirely. And thats how they usually die as the body then floods the lungs with fluid to flush out the toxin or blockage in its lungs. You drown.

So there is three to four problems at once in the hour of your death. You want air now, you want out of the water and you don't have the power to do anything you want and you cannot function at all very well and there isnt anything anyone can do about it and you pass on.

Plasma however from survivors is most valuable. One pint of that with blood cells spun off will provide 4 people with antibodies against covid. In extreme situations you can take a type O person and flow that tube from that person to the person who needs blood. Disregarding for the moment potential killing within that type O person. I am A positive and its not a match with some people and vice versa. Ex is type O, I can take her blood if need be but she cannot use mine. In any example her system is damaged from chemo anyway so the blood is not suitable for others.

They are however looking into nicotine as a blocking material to our Airway receptors by patch, it seems covid has no place to hook on and die off. And that would be that. It would be nice if we can get away with that.
