SRT **PROFESSIONAL DRIVER TURNOVER**

Im sure sarge , Monica the recruiter , Larry and all those guys are steaming pissed. Looks like they might have to start driving a truck again

 

I can't find their Facebook anymore I think it shut down over a week ago

 

Covenant Transport always seemed weird to me. Once, I got a call from Covenant Risk Management on my cell phone, the man on the other end asked me if I knew where my truck was.

I said yep, Its in the Covenant Drop yard in Conley, GA.....why I asked. He said, GPS tracking shows you near TA travel center. Company Policy states you can not park at a Truck Stop in Atlanta. I said well there is a TA across the road....but I'm waiting on a load in your drop lot..... wtf?

One of the difficult things about a career in driving is all the nutjobs you have to deal with in lower level transportation management. Generally unprofessional, irrational and drunk on the tiny veil of authority they (temporarily) have. I’ve found turnover in those positions to be just as bad as drivers. To make matters worse, drivers usually make more than they do. A street smart, experienced driver that causes no problems is more valuable than an ### kissing office yes man.

 

If it makes you moist, Robert Denton was actually fired before this. Not a lot of folk liked him.
