Hello I got a fuelpro 321 on my truck and I'm wanting to do a fuel filter change but not sure how to do it correctly since the filter is upside down

Does the bottom have a fuel drain in it? If so, drain the fuel out and take the filter out.
-
It does have one
-
It had some directions on it but couldn't read it completely so I took it off filled up the bottoms one put the top one and start it up and rise the rpms for a couple min I hope that works guess I find out soon
-
A friend had it - blow the whole system off and go with a regular setup.
Coffey Thanks this. -
Does it have that bad of a reputationblairandgretchen Thanks this.

I looked at it - with my limited experience. I said - THATS GOOFY.
My mechanic looked at and . . . changed it to a regular mount where the filter hung like it was supposed to - with the drain at the bottom. -
Myself I'd just drain it out, spin filter off, spin new filter on. Prime and go.

Never made sense when I looked at it to have it inverted. I don’t see them often. Was there a reason for it?Coffey Thanks this.

Maybe it's just mounted upside down. Just saying. I don;t really know.
