Hello I got a fuelpro 321 on my truck and I'm wanting to do a fuel filter change but not sure how to do it correctly since the filter is upside down

Does the bottom have a fuel drain in it? If so, drain the fuel out and take the filter out.

    Coffey and beastr123 Thank this.

A friend had it - blow the whole system off and go with a regular setup.

    Coffey Thanks this.

I looked at it - with my limited experience. I said - THATS GOOFY.

My mechanic looked at and . . . changed it to a regular mount where the filter hung like it was supposed to - with the drain at the bottom.

    baha and Coffey Thank this.

Myself I'd just drain it out, spin filter off, spin new filter on. Prime and go.

    Coffey Thanks this.

Never made sense when I looked at it to have it inverted. I don’t see them often. Was there a reason for it?

    Coffey Thanks this.

Maybe it's just mounted upside down. Just saying. I don;t really know.

    Coffey Thanks this.
