What if it Snows?

Yea. Reefers are meant to keep stuff cold.

 

No. I checked it some years back.

 

When I see trailers burn like that. I wonder what caused the fire to start. What was he carrying? etc. etc.

 

Sometime the load "protect from freezing"

 

I used to work for a company who didn’t pay to tarp, but we made 28%.
About 10 years later they starting paying $25 for steel tarp, $30 for lumber tarp.
Went from tarping everything, to no longer getting tarp loads, who knew.

 

Actually... Reefers are meant to control temperature....Period. I've done plenty of reefer loads intended to keep a product warm. One prime example is North Dakota during winter. Done plenty of 40, 50, 60 something loads. I just did a dry van load. It was a reefer load with a temp of 65f. The outside temperatures were good enough. They had me take it with a dry van.

 

And burn VERY hot!!! Seriously I could feel the heat off that puppy... Was like sitting 3 feet from a big camp fire.
