Hope to never have to experience that. Is it as bad or worse than the right hand turn onto N 10th street at the 10th street Brewery in Milwaukee?

 

Probably a little worse, but it's been a minute since I've been to 10th Street.

 

Any of y'all in Trenton today? I got a load this morning but of course it's not due until Tuesday morning so here I am.

 

I know my backing skills need work. I dropped a trailer in an easy spot 1 day in Trenton when I couldn't get it in the assigned spot, and told them on the way out. The guard said that happens all the time.

 

I'm up by Cleveland, enjoy the dust and the sound of gunfire.

 

So you have to sit for that long at a place do u get paid or treat it as ur reset. Or how does that work?

 

Where are you turning into 10th that it is bad?

I didn't have any issues turning onto Euclid...but I did a left turn. I suppose my one time down to 10th Street I also did a left turn but as I recall it isn't too tight in the part of Milwaukee. I guess we sometimes experience the same places differently. Haha.



I did like that neighborhood on Euclid. Especially the one really nice house and yard on the corner.

 

I haven’t been to Boston in quite a while. Had to drive through a neighborhood to get here at Merrimack Distributing. Lots of mass holes

 

I've gotten layover pay for sitting with a load that couldn't be delivered early before, but I also sat with it for long enough to *almost* do a 34 hour reset. Was a Walmart load, so delivering early or delivering late was out of the question.

I also had a load last week that I'm supposed to get layover because a power outage delayed load after I had been dispatched on it. I was going to pick it up that afternoon, but ended up not being able to get it until the next morning.

Now if you're sitting idle because there's no freight, you don't get paid for that. Someone can chime in and correct me if there's circumstances where we get paid for that.
