We have a 2017 Freightliner Cascadia. I've been creeping trying to hammer out a maintenance schedule, but there are a lot of different opinions.

I have read every 15k, 30k, 40k-50k....what is the generally accepted schedule? I've been doing them every 30k so far, but if I am needlessly doubling my maintenance costs, I'd really like to know lol.

Also, should I get a tire rotation on a schedule or just monitor tread and act accordingly?

I do mine around 30k......ask 10 different drivers, and you'll get 10 different answers. But, after reading and asking, I came up with 30k.
As far as your tires go, I would recommend Centramatics on the steers, and an annual alignment.

    Speed_Drums Thanks this.

Get a good oil analysis with every oil change. Blackstone-Labs is supposed to be good. Track your motors health. These new engines tend to build up a lot of soot, especially if you idle a lot. Soot is an oil killer.

Check the air pressure on your tires at least weekly.

I change my oil/fuel filters and grease everything every month or 12k-15k
Change rear end oil and transmission oil every year.
I also have centramatics on every axle of my truck. Drive tires are on their 3rd year, got new steer tires in January of this year.
My oil sample always says “ran at excessive temperature.”
Has had that since I bought it, got to love regens.

DD15- 30 to 35 thousand on oil and filters.

Cummins - 20 thousand on oil and filters.

Paccar - light it on fire, hope no one sees you.

Rotating your drives depends on what kind you have as well. I rotated my Yoko's every 40K.

The General's I have now, since last July, haven't rotated them yet.

How long do you guys get out of a set of tires? I have the originals on my truck and trailer with almost 140k on them, and they all still look great. A little cupping on a couple trailer tire edges because of an alignment issue, but nothing more since I had it aligned.
