I had a tire guy swear by these tires from India. He said he's been putting them on a lot of trucks in the Chicago area. I attached pictures he sent me the other day of a set that is 3 years old.
If my memory serves me right, he quoted them $340 installed.

It’s still within Cooper warranty of 6 years. We are in week 24 so it’s still got about 6 months left. It is a light truck tire. Different warranty criteria than heavy truck tires.

I only run Chinese on my trailer. Do yourself a favor, always run good tires on your tractor. A friend recommended Yokohama drives. I bought them and have about 200k on them, and have enough tread to last the rest of the year.

The Goodyear’s on my car, hydroplaned terribly, when they were brand new. Very soft rubber, wear out fast. About a year ago, I saw a Guy take all 8 new Goodyear’s off, said they were too slippery. I would have bought them myself, but the Truckstop, got them. Chinese tires are generally softer rubber, they wear quicker. A friend of mine bought a set once in summer. For about the first 2 weeks, every time he stopped. You could actually smell the rubber burning. I don’t know about these tires!!! Lol. I think Bridgestone and maybe Yoko have Luggers with 1” tread. The next would be 15/16”. I’d like to have either, or Continentals. Problem is they dry rot on Me, before the tread wears out. Doesn’t matter, Bridgestone or Chinese, the sidewalls fail.

I agree, Goodyear tires suck. I had a set once and they didn't even last a year. Although, I have two friends that have got their money's worth out of them.

I have a set Falken tires on the other truck, but from what I heard it's not the same tire they had a couple years back. If I'm not mistaken it's because they're manufactured in the US instead of Japan. Otherwise, I would slap a set of those on my truck in heartbeat.

You probably had knock-off Goodyear’s. Friend of mine who owns a small fleet had a container of them once. He got rid of them really quick...
