    1. What would be the advantages/disadvantages of having a flat floor vs. t duct? Feel free to throw out any other desirable specs.

    Nursery loads on carts would the biggest advantage for a flat floor. Every so often I see loads posted with a note “no flat floor “

    I wish I had a flat floor. I think the only purpose of a duct floor is for airflow for loads loaded on the floor instead of on pallets. There have been times when I have taken a heavy load to a consignee that is unloading with a pallet jack off the street (micro-brew beer to small package stores with no dock in small towns come to mind). Or when you want to unload multiple stops yourself to keep the unloading $$$, and all you can use is a hand jack. Turning heavy loads on a duct floor-particarly Utiliity VS2s with 1 1/2 inch spacing-can be difficult.
