My carrier unit won't cool down below 38 degrees. I just had a leak repaired and freon checked and cleaned the coils. What could be the problem?

I'm not a reefer mechanic but I've had that same thing happen before. Our shop had me manually defrost it. I did that an it cycled through an back to normal operation. After that it worked fine. If that don't do it ya may have had a sensor go bad.nikmirbre Thanks this.

My Reefer was set at 38° Before the controls and screen locked up like this. It turns on and starts cooling to 38° but the screen never blinks and the buttons don’t do a thing.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
