I use a Blue Parrot B350. It's so lightweight and the head band so flexible that even some of the smaller bumps are able to get it airborne high enough to fall off my generic 3M command hook.

I need something where the hook part is taller so it can't get high enough to fly off OR I need some way to steady it so it doesn't bounce and sway quite so much.

    Any suggestions?

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

It’s not pretty, but I use a wire coat hanger. Cut it down to the size I need and bend it so it has a big hook so my headset won’t bounce out it. Used it for a couple years, works great.

Thanks for the responses, folks! My thoughts on each suggestion follows...

I was looking for something a little cleaner. I've gone way out of my way to make sure my cøckpit looks clean and professional as possible.

But I do have those flexible rubber wire ties. Not super stoked about that idea, but if all else fails...?
My CB microphone cable doesn't make the same "loop" yours does, probably because I have my radio on the dash.

I have a thermoelectric cooler sitting in the passenger seat. Barely fits between the arm rests. I can't really even move the arm rests all that easily. I've tried my own arm rest before; it broke my last headset (same 350xt) because of strain on the part where the plastic meets the metal of the headband--the plastic cracked and allowed the headband to fall off.

There was once a product I saw in a truck stop but can't find now. It was a headset hanger. Any ideas?

I use this hook mounted to the bottom of the upper dash (above the windshield) it will sway but you really have to hit a serious bump for it to pop out...
