If your personalities are otherwise compatible and the two of you care for each other, you have a chance.

Jealousy on the other will wreck any relationship, especially if one of the parties resents a control freak. Those things go to the core of who and what somebody is. Your situation on the other hand sounds different.

I keep thinking about starting a thread about what little tricks you’ve leaned about your rig to make it more livable, but I became worried that the tarp monkeys would have it devolve into the care and nurturing of their beloved straps. I mean straps are like condoms and should only be used when necessary. LOL

So my first installment in Otters cheapo easy fix’s deals directly with the bunk a/c vent on Freightliner Cascadia’s at least up to 2017. Anyone whose ever driven one of these knows that the aforementioned vent closes and then whistles. I don’t need a song I need arctic cold air back there.

#1: The paperwork clamp which you probably already have in your truck can placed in a variety different places on the vent depending on how open you want the vent, or the amount of air you require. This will not only stay on place on the I-70 through Ohio and Indiana, but also makes it difficult for it to slip down and get lost in the vent hose.

All bags of chips are “single serving”. Unless there’s something wrong with you and enjoying awesomeness.

For me i made a tv mount out of some adhesive hooks and a 31inch bungee... also used one of those clips onthe top shelf that has nothing to protect the contents of the shelf falling all over the floor. Cut a piece of cardboard and clipped it to shelf . Now i dont have to pickup all my #### from the floor after a days worth of driving

@otterinthewater u are a genius for figuring out that sleeper vent. I had the same problem in my cascadia and ended up just taking out the vent part so its wide open.... Lol.... So now u must figure out the cascadia cup holders and why they have always been completely useless for anything related to cups holding liquid

Seriously. Whoever designed them obviously has never heard of a big gulp. I’ve got an idea that I will work out when I get home again.

The stuff they make isn’t going to hurt you, it’s two parts, when combined in 300 seconds it becomes a gel.
It’s what keeps the electric batteries in the Tesla cars cool.
