Absolutely and then we’re the ones that get blamed when we’re cut off for following distance. Our government gives out licenses to any idiot that wants one. No English? No problem..

We need tougher driver training in the US to get your automobile license. People mistakenly think a drivers license is a right when it is not. There is no political will in the US to make standards tougher. You can get your license without knowing much of anything and having very minimal skill and you can head out to terrorize the interstates with your ineptitude.
When I was in West Germany in the US Army in the 80s they dumbed down their testing for Americans and that test was still 150 written questions with all sorts of diagrams and scenarios and you had to answer what would be your correct action. Our driving test was easier.
The German citizens had it much worse. It took 6 months of classroom and in vehicle training and around $1,000 in 1980s money for them to get a license. Basically went to a professional driving school. Had to go through all sorts of hoops but they knew how to drive when finished. Not sure what it is like today.Still undecided, dwells40 and UhOhh Thank this. -
I couldn’t even imagine all the whining if we went back to the old way. It seems everything today is “dumbed down.” They believe driving is a human right lol..JOHNQPUBLIC Thanks this.

I think I saw City Brewery talked about in this thread but can’t find it. Is City just a drop n hook? 125 Market st, La Crosse Wi
-
From my experience it is but have had an occasional live at the other primary location in La Crosse. Usually have you put it in a drop lot 1/2 block down the street.
-
They have 2 locations, there's a big warehouse at 1637 S. St James too. My load there this morning was drop and hook.

You delivering glass there? If you are going cross town for nxt load they will let you drop it. If not they will live unload you usually.....turn at car dealer, follow to stop sign, check in will be on left, but you have to go thru stop sign take a right(not immediately from stop sign) follow it down you'll see drop lot on left. Park and walk bills back to the check in office.UhOhh Thanks this.

Thats where you pickup loads from but not where you deliver glass too. 125 market is glass deliveryUhOhh Thanks this.
