Why is big blue painted red? Color blindness of the owner?

You can get alot of lawns mowed at your house for the cost of the mower. Personally if your going to buy new, get a zero turn mower. Home Depot can sell you a nice mid mount cub cadet for for 2999. Yet that price of 2999 means you could have the lawn mowed for you 85 times. Here in the north east an average lawn is 16 mowings a year. Or about 5 years of mowing. Personally I love mowing lawns. That ZTR will probably only take you 2 hours max. Yet its your money

BTW? If I was replacing the ZTR mower that I have currently? It would be the above mentioned Cub Cadet. Those mowers float across muddy areas, where mine will require a 4x4 pickup to get it out of the mud

OHGawdy! Talk about overkill. That would be like buying a Pete389 to do pizza delivery.
I'm not into lawn mowing anyways. Did enough as a kid.
Before I bought this house. I was thinking of getting a four wheeler. Then a bank of mowers. Just run back and forth in the yard once. Then park it. In it's own garage that has a sign: I hate lawn mowing.

On second thought. It is a 50 inch mower. Less time out there.
And they do have shipping to my home.
    I'm getting stupid now. :biggrin_25526:
BTW: You said that ZTR will probably take me 2 hours max? Lets try about a half and hour max. Sounding better all the time. Doh! :biggrin_25517:

Runnings is offering a little Cub Cadet. Much like that used red one. It will fit through my gate. ????

People like those new Cub Cadet zero turns. The reviews on them are very positive. I like the Toros or Exmarks (Toros commercial brand) my self, but I don’t think there is anything wrong with the Cub Cadets.

Kind of depends what your doing for a large yard that a homeowner do it your self operation would have the Cub Cadet would be fine.

For light residential and small commercial work Toro or Cub Cadet actually. MTD really beefed up the new Cub Cadets because they wanted to go after the commercial market more and I think they were targeting a lot of people who use Toro/EXmark.

Now for a big golf course yeah you need a Toro Grounds Master that’s not even debateable. I tend to like the Toros over JohnDeere or Jacobsen.

At my landscaping business the fleets kind of a mix bag it’s a mix between Toro and Little Wonder. The thatcher I have is a blue bird which has been a good unit helps that the motor is a brand new Briggs Vangaurd 209CC motor. But yeah good stuff.

    Here it is:

The aerator there in the front is a Toro 224 aerator that model hasn’t been produced in a while kind of a rare machine now, but it works really good. Toro gives you the fold down handle option which I like.
