Going on third year on front drive axle, wear is even, can probably get another year out of those.
Rear axle driver side tires are 3 year old too.
RHS rear axle tires are old steers I moved back after that one got the sidewall stabbed on rough railroad track.
They would’ve got another year too if not for that mishap.
I do 100-125k miles/year so I like the centramatics.
What if it Snows?

I’ve got the centramatics on the steers. I think I waited too long to buy them for the Michelin’s. Lesson learned.
I’ve got a significant amount of experience via racing with tires, and working with Michelin and Pirelli. I’ll disagree with you...outside of some brands have better sets sometimes. As a rule always check the production dates before you hand over cash.
Mine were both produced on 1820. That’s the 18th week of 2020. If they don’t have exact matches keep them within 20 weeks of production. Lots of running changes happen and it’s a possible to get a slightly different construction that will drive you insane.

Fantastic quality, fantastic warranty. Well worth the investment.LoSt_AgAiN, Rideandrepair, Dave_in_AZ and 4 others Thank this. -
So what will the production dates tell you other than age. ?
Are you looking for a bad production run?
With the centramarics do you still have the tires balanced when you mount them.
Being I can mount my own I might just buy a bubble balancer to get them close.
You race circle track Otter?
My classmate back in school was Johnny Benson
My best bud was pretty tight with him , me not soo much. I was more of a 1/4 mile guy though we would go out to the track in Marne and watch him and his dad race back in the day
His dad would sell us circle track tires for like $15 mounted.
We would take them out on a Saturday night and toast them .

Well I had my wheel seal replaced on the middle drive axle. 3 weeks ago?. I drive out to long island. Get out of the truck oil on the tarps and the headache rack. I should have taken a picture before I wiped up the rim. You can see the oil spill on the ground. I tightened all the nuts and got out of the truck 5 or 6 times to make sure the tire wasn't getting hot. It didn't. But when I pulled into the reciever it was hot real hot.
I got a 3 box change at sapp brothers for $410. One box is 149 plus fees. Three is 379. Hopefully the bearings are all right. The was metal fur, no chunks on the middle pumpkin.Last edited: Jul 14, 2020

Best thing that happened to a Ford was that 6.9 International back in the day.
No balls but you weren’t going to kill it.
1st time I had ever seen 300 thousand on a pickup and still running.
Owner of the Hog farm my brother-in-law ran and I worked one had one back in 82 as well as my brother in-law .
He was into race horse and pulled them all over the country racking up miles and torturing that little 170 horse motor.
4 speed manuals of course.Rideandrepair, Cattleman84, Sirscrapntruckalot and 3 others Thank this.
