Drive4Walmart Openings.....

Walmart is one of the best if not the best place to drive for.

 

can you explain why? I notice that Walmart is one of the only companies with a really long experience requirement (30 months in 3 years?) . every other company's ads almost always say 6 months, 1 year, MAYBE 2 years. Is there a reason for that?

Funnily enough I worked for walmart for a couple years in 2015-2017 but quit due to hating my job and low pay . Worked few random jobs for even lower pay after that and now I'm a trucker lol.

Even if I had that experience requirement I'm probably still on their records and my attendance at my last job was pretty bad (ironically enough that job was UNLOADING the trucks). Mostly because I went on my first paid vacation and basically never came back.

Walmart has some of the best benefits, pay, and equipment in the industry. (yes, there are higher paying jobs, shinier trucks, and more comprehensive bennies..my point is as a total package, WM holds their own near the top) WM expects their current drivers to meet or exceed the expectations placed on them with the position. 30 months experience in 3 years is just going to get you through the application process. There is a background check, extensive work history, on-boarding skills assessments, and finally a mentoring process to evaluate you as an employee and driver. Again, WM wants professional drivers. If you've been driving for a week, CRSTENGLANDSWIFTWERNER is that way ----> If you've kept the shiny side up for a few years and pride yourself on a job well done, WM might want to speak to you.

 

I just started my application for the Midway Tennessee DC. Will see how it goes.

 

midway isnt hiring at the moment. but still put in app. they pull from past apps when hiring
