    Well if he is truly moving, that's better than nothing, but not a good deal. Hope he either doesnt have a lot or wasnt going far.

    Hmm ya think?
    Figure manager with wife and two kids. 3 bedroom 2.5 bath 1 car garage, moving 1200 miles away.
    In movers term that's 16,000 lbs or $7000 line hail $2500 packing, $1600 un pack $550 fuel surcharge $1200 misc fees (insurance, origin/dest location fee and a few other fees.$12,850.
    Or get a u haul pack, load, drive, unload, them self.

    I mean, when you break it down that way, i see where you're coming from, but its definitely better than nothing. Maybe it works if you ain't gotta move 1200 miles away. For some people, its probably good assistance, the single ones without a lot of stuff to move

    No doubt it is MUCH MUCH better than nothing. Also if your young and just starting out. Probably just have a 5000lb two bedroom apt.
    I used to move people for walmart. I noticed they came in two types. SENIOR executive 20-25k full service move. Takes 3-4 days to pack and load takes up the while trailer sometimes more. And $2500 young just starting out, usually single. Fresh out of college, moving from parents home, or a studio apt.
    So I'm guessing this $7500 is for employees somewhere in the middle.

    that was just a guess. they had there on moving trailers for a while

    Ill say this because i dont feel like reading back...they dont make you do anything especially if you cant complete it. But for those of us willing to run, its worth it big time.
