Will this work if I take the blade off for when I go to do belly straps? I’m not really sure how this works, but I don’t have a painters pole, just this attachment and a long pole after I take off the attachment on it that’s made for picking pears, apples, etc off of high limbs (like a basket).

    Best regards, John

Yes it will. I use a 5th wheel puller.

It will work better than what you have now for sure (Nothing?).

You could also go to the hardware store and get a pvc T fitting that will fit on the end of that pole... use it for both edge protectors and pushing straps...

I will post a picture later of mine...

The PVC would be less than $1

So you’re aware of my WE budget huh hehe I’m glad I don’t have any kids or a girlfriend; on top of being a new driver and still learning the ropes in flatbed I’m only getting paid 32 cents a mile and even though I do my shopping at Walmart now on my decent paychecks ($600) I’m averaging about $100 a week in profits; credit card bill, phone bill, food/supplies, citation I got during training, etc

I used a 1x8 board, hook the strap to the board, slide it through.
When not in use it was on top of my boards under dollies.

Take a piece of rebar and bend back one end. Cheap, easy to carry, light to work with, and if you lose it you haven't lost much.
