I had one the other day that I picked up 2 days late. There was a lot of time on it originally so I ended up delivering only 3.5 hrs late after some hustling and only taking a strick 10 hr break while I ran it.

That City Brewery across the street from Midwest Memphis is the worst shipper I’ve encountered yet. 8 hours to get loaded.
-
I've not had any problems there. In fact, I have delivered at Midwest and reloaded at Blues City in less time than it's taken me to deliver and reload from Midwest before.
-
Don't let it discourage you. My backing was totally abysmal my first year. Now it's only just kinda abysmal lololol. No seriously it's not bad now but just like everyone else, I still have days where I can't back worth a ####.MIT Thanks this.
-
The biggest thing to get over for me was not caring when 20 other truckers are staring at your backing lol. The peer pressure to not be an idiot can play games with your head. The other problem I still deal with today is backing when tired, especially at night.
Still undecided, MIT and dwells40 Thank this. -
I've had good days there and I've been there for 7 hours as I watched the employees spend more time outside on break than working. This is especially with thr evening shift like 4 pm to midnight time frame.
I just wonder if they actually reimburse Millis for all the detention that is paid out. Would seem like management there would crack down to save money. Memphis is definitely the very weak link in the La Crosse, Rochester triangle. That place in St. Cloud sucks pretty good too but not sure if they are officially part of this Mark Anthony chain.UhOhh Thanks this. -
St Cloud is a contract brewery. Guessing that NJ and Arizona could eliminate them.JOHNQPUBLIC Thanks this.

Isn't City/Blues City and NAB also contract brewers?
I read somewhere that City is picking up the PBR contract sometime soon so we may wind up hauling PBR out of those places instead of White Claw and Mike's.MIT Thanks this. -
Ya I was there last week during the night shift. First time there. Must be a lot better during the day. Funny watching the workers take 10 20min smoke breaks. I got there after Midwest took 5 hours to unload me and I arrived at the brewery with 3 minutes left on my clock. I think Memphis is my new least favorite sketchy town, along with Omaha. Dumpy.

Yes day shift at Brew City is better than evenings by far. Probably better than Midwest Warehouse at its best. Memphis is definitely a dump or at least the parts we see. I'm so glad we have the Heartland Terminal in Olive Branch to use now for parking. Much better than any of the truck stops in Memphis and West Memphis.
UhOhh and Still undecided Thank this.
