    I bought a new laptop yesterday. Hopefully it’ll be worth what I paid for it.

    Now all I have to do is figure out how to use it. :confused:

    Bought several MBP for my daughters for school... I still have two MBPs from 2010 that are still up and running. I can’t update them anymore but even that happened only a couple years ago. Solid pieces of equipment. I’m sure you will be very pleased.

    There’s a couple things I did notice right off the bat for anybody looking at these.

    There’s no CD drive, no USB ports or a slot for an SD card, so depending on what you plan to use it for you’ll need a bunch of little adaptors.

    No more itunes either, so if you havev music on your phone you can’t transfer it over... at least I haven’t figured that out yet. You can’t just hit the sync button either because it will erase them.

    He can get one usb c dock with different ports, there are aftermarket on amazon and people like to get delll or hp usb c docks, those are cheap on ebay.

    Thats standard for most laptops unless its a gaming laptop. I have an HP gaming laptop and its got all the ports. How much did you give for it $700?

    I'm not a Mac guy, but my newest Windows laptop (now 5 yrs old) had Bluetooth so you could transfer music files that way...and I could connect both to my home Wifi and send them over the network like I was communicating with 2 computers.
