You know their still bitter since they lost the war right?
It was Horrible
Da blood and guts and Spilt beer on da Hockey Rank was unsightly
No one should witness those Atrocities. Da beer dat day was lost was unimaginable .
Quites a few Canadians on dis here site won’t speak of it even today.
What if it Snows?

I hate Exxon Mobil’s due to one huge facility.
Been to quite few of them but one really sucks.
Chester, WV, way over on the Ohio River, pretty much straight across from Pittsburgh on the map.
Anywho, Get a 0700 Appointment, only place to park nearby is an hour out, a Loves that might hold 20 trucks, full of locals.
So, I somehow found a spot to blindside into with a spreadaxle isotanker and chassis.
Learned the trick years ago about dropping the sun visor on RHS and can use that mirror when in a tight turn to see the rear of the trailer, but I make it the next day at 0630.
I sat there for 24 hours, the reason, the product code shipped from overseas didn’t match their product code.
I told them that was bs, the name of the product matched, and so did every piece of paper I had, matched what had been faxed to them.
But since that business didn’t match their product code, they wouldn’t touch it.
So I sat outside the gate all day, truck idling to keep from freezing, didn’t have espar bunk heater at this time.
Ended up delivering the next day at 0730, when someone made the decision that the in-house product code didn’t have to match.
Then they got 5 mph speed zone where a guy walks beside you as “escort” and he takes you to tank.
You have to be buckled in, and the guard even tells you the yard personnel messes with you trying to get you to move the truck with no seatbelt on to ban you and the ban carries to all Exxon Mobile sites.
If they think you looked at your phone while driving, your banned, I turned mine off just incase they tried that trick, so I could prove it was off, but I don’t think that would’ve even carried much weight there.
So after I stop under the rack, set brakes, turn engine off then off comes the lap strap, and I step down in my PPE, I walk back to the end of the trailer, the guy says, “I need you to pull up about 5 ft, not under the rack good.”
I didn’t say anything, he took my paperwork, I got in truck, hooked the belt, started it and released brakes and the guy yelled, “That’s Good!”
I’m like wtf, I didn’t even put it in gear.
So I secure truck out I go again, and he said “You gotta climb up there and hook the nitrogen line to the top of the tank.”
I told him I wasn’t going up there, I was scared of heights and claustrophobic.
He told me I’d be there all day if I didn’t do it.
I told him I’d already wasted one day of my life there, what would 2 hurt?
He hooked everything up.
3 hours later I was free.
Load paid exclusive rates to take the tank back to Houston, could’ve went back but I said “No way.”
Sent in layover paperwork I never got anything for that day wasted, at least the load paid exclusive rate.Dave_in_AZ, LtlAnonymous, JolliRoger and 4 others Thank this.
