I talked to a Prime flatbed guy a little while back. He's a l/o, but I guess he figured the game out and was makin $. Said his truck payment was like 3k/mo but he was putting 4-5k in his pocket after everything. Go home whenever he wanted or run as much as he wanted.
Where is everyone #5

Man that sucks. We've got two German Shepard's here at the farm, the male's a buck thirty and the female just over a hundred, between them two, along with two blue heeler's that suffer from severe anger management problems, we seem to have zero problems with breakins, even though addicts and meth heads run rampant. Yeah, even in a rural area they abound, kinda sad those folks got nothing good going on...singlescrewshaker, Tug Toy, farmerjohn64 and 6 others Thank this.

Never know when you might "upgrade" to official TM status, LOL.
Seriously though, you'll do fine and you've enough friends on here that will help you out any way we can.
OK fellas, lunch break's done, back to the wood pile, that beer's gonna taste good tonight, albeit not Dos Equis though, or even PBR...singlescrewshaker, Tug Toy, farmerjohn64 and 8 others Thank this. -
There’s still small places out there that will train someone. Idk why people flock to the mega/crapholes. But again some people like to live in a truck and that’s ok. Everyone’s different. But don’t complain about a place if you’re looking for another mega/craphole to go to. They aren’t much different. I know of one small outfit(50ish trucks) that takes new drivers or did at one time out of northwest Arkansas but it is reefers.

This happened in Tucson in '00. I forgot to stick them in the safe and went out of town for a few weeks. As chance would have it, the day after I left these 2 kids I knew along with this girl that had a crush on me decided to just show up at my house supposedly to see what I was doing.
When they realized I wasn't home, they decided to break in and see what they could steal. They grabbed a vcr/dvd player, a Playstation and happened across the rifles. Luckily my next door neighbor saw them and knew I was out of town. They saw her and booked it. Cops caught them before they even got out of the area and all 3 were arrested. I pressed charges and they all 3 got jail time for class 3 felonies on each gun.
But if I wasn't a irresponsible kid, I'd have never had them out of the safe in the 1st place. -
Normally I hate construction. But when I see pipe going in the ground I feel better.

The way Ive had it explained to me by my boss is because according to insurance co's a driver with 2+ yrs behind the wheel has enough experience to not make stupid mistakes. Thus much lower rates for small co's that can't self insure.
