Nope not going to watch. It will be a crime against bovine kind. Steaks MUST be flame kissed over coals not tortured by engine cooking.

unless it’s cooked by the eater I don’t trust restaurant food.Another Canadian driver, alds and Wasted Thyme Thank this. -
Wood pellets are not hazmat and they sell a small pellet grill. You'd need an Apu or inverter though.

I’ve seared using a Searzall and a torch. I’ve seared using a cast iron skillet and my single burner. And I sometimes wear using the Galanz oven. Each has its benefits. At home, I often use the grill at a high temperature. Using sous vide as a cooking method works well in a truck. Often we do not know when we will stop for the break, and with sous vide, cooking too long doesn’t hurt the meat.

Done right i have no qualms with pan seared. If i have a thinner cut NY strip i'll do it on the pan. The pan has to be really clean and nice and hot. Med hi heat, a few min on either side and mmmm

I just season and throw them in the oven set at 280 and cook till the internal temp is where I want for a given doneness (135 for medium), then sear them in the cast iron on high temp. Searing takes like 3 minutes total per steak.

Wrap it in foil with spices and onions and mushrooms and throw it on the exhaust manifold.
You must have your cooking calibrated by mileage thoughAnother Canadian driver, Wasted Thyme and Brettj3876 Thank this.
