If i found something in that era that wasn't totally boned out I'd be all over it. Same here i wanna build it not buy it.
My uncle has a 94 SS S10 sitting all apart in our garage he's restoring from ground up just because it's not common. Pistons, cam, PP the head. Sandblasted and painted the frame, just needs to throw engine back together. Has a 85 square body with a 350 with a mild cam that's mint too.
Kicking myself for not buying a 66 F100 for 3k when i was out in Ohio. 1 owner truck some guy in his mid 70s had it since newcke, PoleCrusher, Flint1 and 7 others Thank this. -

Or.....the Other WE driver says screw it and bootlegs gets caught truck shut down, thousand of dollars in fines and driver loses his job. Anotherc"real world" scenario. Driver that does it by the book rolls through 4 days later with permits and no issues what so ever. Gets empty and reload the load the fired driver was suppose to get. None of this means squat. Im trying to educate you on the now load ! Over 30 yrs of experience doing this ! How many for you ? Your the one that asked a while back bout getting into rgn work. I'm done like banging my head against the wall !! Common sense here, be professional not just a truck driver that skirts the rules ! I'm done !!clausland, Hurricane69, beastr123 and 12 others Thank this.

I'm not sure. It still had to older heater box under the hood making it a FLC. But who knows. His 84 blue flc is the one I wish I knew were it was. Big Cam III 400, 13 speed, 4.11's and jucied up from day one. Turned 2650 rpm.
Now you wanted to hear a man curse. Mention a 444. His 88 cabover with a 444 was why he bought the 1990 with a Detroit.
Ran great. I was with him the first week that it was towed twice. Accessory drive pulley fell off. Loaded in Cleveland. He had to call his buddy that had his 74 K100 and have it towed to us. Only other truck plumbed to pull his doubles which were heavy. Then the clutch. That was his first week running it new from the dealer. Couldn't keep injectors in it and had a huge problem with soot in the oil. The step timing control was the issue, but nobody had a fix for it back then. They do now. He called it the "The Hanger Queen".cke, PoleCrusher, Flint1 and 6 others Thank this. -
Uh, sure you could - how about -$10k in a week or for weeks on end?
as an employee- there is a limit to your loss - at whatever rate you value your time. As the owner there is virtually no limit to your loss. -
They're cute but if you rollover in the bed it'll be smoochedcke, PoleCrusher, Flint1 and 6 others Thank this.

I’d find another job. There everywhere. He should have checked out McElroy truck lines in Cuba,al. There home every week. I’d work anywhere before I put up with crap like you talk about. I’ve been in some hard spots but ain’t nobody gonna tell me to do illegal things nor are they gonna give me pennies and think I’ll stay. I had one dump truck job that sent 2 of us about 65 miles one way to a job site. On the way back the other driver called me and said we had to go back the next day. Ok I’m getting paid by the hour. Oh no he says. We aren’t getting paid to drive back. What you say. Well he was right I told the owner I wouldn’t be going back and he said that’s ok I’ll find someone else. I guess he did I never talked to him again and I needed to work bad but I’m not gonna be run over.cke, PoleCrusher, Flint1 and 8 others Thank this.
