Very strange weather today here in NorCal along the coast. The temp finally dropped into the lower 60's this morning, but we're getting a lot of smoke from two fires burning about 250 miles north of here. The smoke is high up, but it's blocking out most of the sun light. The sun is just a dull orange ball in the sky, and I still have lights on in the house at nearly 9:30 in the morning because it's so dark outside.

Yea eastern WY isn't bad at all. Snow didn't even try to fall until after 0500 local time.

Down power lines and fire shut down the right lane 167 in Sumner WA area. Not sure wich happened first because one of the polls was burnt in half.......

That added an hour to the trip up.

I get to experience that fun almost every week, as I drive a dedicated lane for Georgia Pacific. Ah, that sour smell!

So what do we do when it actually does snow?

    So.
What do you think he meant by that, that it was hotter than?
    Worse than?
    Bigger then?
    Less or more crowded?
    Roads flood in a sprinkle?

    Inquiring minds need to know.

I did quite a bit of GP when I was running Procter & Gamble at Schneider. There were probably partnerships in their supply chains.

Giant rolls of paper, that sort of thing. Very unpleasant, heavy loads. Lol

You know what's fun? Construction work on the house on Labor Day weekend. Not even drinking a drop of alcohol, and doing nothing but working the entire weekend. That's really a lot of fun. So much fun. Send help.
