Verizon $90 plan is probably the best coverage and speed. See if they had data limits or the slow you down I think at high usage towers. Last time check Verizon doesn't have cell towers in WY but they have agreement with the company that does. That important because if you have a verizon plan you have cell a date service. If you have a 3 company like Straight Talk using Verizon towers you don't have service in WY. Verizon use to be really expensive. $90 for their top plan is cheap if you want basically unlimited data around USA and 30GB of hotspot.

The cell phone towers by truck stop can have to many people it just not fast enough anymore. You need the new 5G but that very hard to find from what I read so far. Sound like we are years away from wide 5G coverage. I'm using Straight Talk now on Verizon towers $60 a month for 60GB of data unlimited talk and text. Maybe 10GB of hotspot. It not good for gaming but watching YouTube or streaming music is good. I think Verizon limit data speed to 3 party companies like Straight Talk because I only get maybe 5 MB download speed. When I had Verizon plan I could get 20-30MB download in Wyoming. That's was amazing speed 6 years ago. Today people kinda look at that as normal I think. $60 Straight Talk vs $90 Verizon, if you want service out west in WY and Mt you need a real Verizon account and you can get the 5G maybe when it available. I found even Verizon towers get over loaded at bigger truck stops. I think verizon 5G is only a couple city blocks in Los Angeles. It will probably be years before it get out say Ontario CA truck stop. That was always overloaded cell phone tower. You got 600 trucks trying to surf the internet at same time.

I'm using AT&t's car connect plan. It works great for streaming movies and everything I need and it's super cheap.

I have ATT unlimited plan on my laptop and haven't found anyplace where it doesn't work yet. Costs around $100 per month. Probably not enough bandwidth for gaming, but I don't game any more. I watch movies in high res and it works great.

So I figured out that my service (cricket wireless) you can get the unlimited plan for 60 bucks and that comes with a 15gb hotspot. You can basically keep adding data to that plan (even into the hundreds of GB) . It gets expensive the more you put on though .

I added a tablet with 4g (internal) to my cell phone plan to Verizon so anything I use the tablet for is unlimited. I just stream movies and shows on it with no limits. Works great.

Tbh it only really matters when I have a bit of off time . The fact I have so much off time is telling as to the quality of my employer in being able to keep me running
