Worked my butt off for this guy, even did all kinds of work on the truck when it broke down which was often to save the owner some money. I had a agreement to run two weeks and come home 4 days. After being out hauling cattle for 21 days. It was time for me to go home and he refused to let me even though home was on the way back for a load that was to be picked up in two days. I was in Tx live on the way. He asked me where i was called the cops. They asked me where i was headed i told them home. Then they said well the owner wants his truck, already being pissed for the law pulling me over and him pulling some shady ####. I went to the nearest truck stop call him and told him look i live off this hwy not going out of my way just want a shower and wash my clothes i have wore the same 5 suits for 21 days. He told me to leave truck then never paid me. I got shafted 1400.00 dollars. lesson learned piece of crap owner ops who are not willing to drive their own junk are in it for themselves and don't care about the driver who puts blood sweat and tears.

If you’re tuff enough to haul cows you should be tuff enough to get your money.

I’m tough enough to bite cattle. And, that’s just what I did one time when this bull started dusting up his front feet and grunting and acting all hard.

I turned myself into a bat, bit him and commenced to riding his fat arse like a porpoise at Sea World!

I be like “You ain’t hard boss. You ain’t hard at all! I got your name! I got your number! I got your arse!”

Wow, I just admitted to having a physical altercation with a farm animal.

He might call it abandoned. Hauling livestock you have to expect the unexpected. You needed to get away from this guy.

From my conversations with cattle haulers over the years ,they get some of the worst treatment , no sleep , always rushed ,low pay for what they do .

And how much does one head go for again ? $2500 + average ?

Ya gotta understand @Frank Speak it's OK. Just don't tick him off, or you will might wake up anemic, with a stiff neck.
BTW, are you interested in a lease? But, silly me, who isn't?:D My BFF @TB John runs this company, the 123rd largest leasing company (but growing exponentially daily). Just checking.
