I put in Hardwood in the dinning room and hallways when we moved in. Glad that we put it in 20 yrs ago no way I could do it now.

If I'm not mistaken unless you're laying it on concrete you need a subfloor at least 1 1/2" inches thick.

I had a bunch of mine done, all that needed done, when the virus first started. This guy was talented too. Redid all the bad spots in the sub floor, all new linoleum in kitchen, hallway, and bath, new vanity and sink, new toilet ( American standard ), all trim, redid the ceiling in the hallway, painted.......$1700.

Only casualty was he knocked my printer off the sub woofer and killed it.

It's the Son Of Dracula. He looks like he's pushing 50, late bloomer. Dead late.

    Laundry is done.

All important paper is up to date.

    Supplies are all purchased.

Now gotta cook and make salads for the road.

All preparations for getting underway are almost completed.

I did 850 sq ft. in my last house, while living in it. Took Me 3 weeks. Nail gun rental was more than a new one Costs. After I finished, a Mexican Carpenter, building a house next door, says , Me and my helper would have Dont it in 2 days for $300!!!! I swore I’d never do it again. This time I’m planning on 5” or 6” instead of 2.25”. I might just do the engineered click lock. It’s so easy, no finishing, easy to repair/ replace a section.
