168" sleeper 320" wb 53' dry van. I go into NYC occasionally just for to make sure you take turn a little wider.
Only a couple of places where I couldn't get into, one where a day cab even has a hard time getting into the dock, and one where the yard tractor has a hard time getting into dock.
I am 43,700# empty 16,000# front axle and empty I'm at 14,800# on my steer axle . 82' total length.
Super Sleeper gents, I need your wisdom

I run the north east with a 285” wb but I only have a 60”, I could probably squeeze a 100 on there but I’m not in the truck enough to justify it, only have one spot in vt to be nice to the hard jock to put my trailer in/out of the door if I don’t have 1 open next to the one I’m trying to get in
you can go up to 20k on a steer if the axles are rated for if -
I wouldn't think that wind would be too bad. I mean your Carrying a house plus a load

Get off the STAA designated routes, the states had authority to implement their length laws and 53' they could assert a KPRA length.truckguy391, blairandgretchen and 650cat425 Thank this. -
Like others have said, be smart with routing for any major city, northeast, tight areas, etc. Plenty of folks out here running 330 WB with 53 spreads (few guys I loaded with years ago had these combos). Just takes some getting use to.
Far as the northeast goes (especially Jersey and NYC), Richie Acosta ran his “Project 350” with a 48 spread.
If wheelbase becomes critical, look for a cabover and do a frame stretch, drone box behind the sleeper and get trucking.Klleetrucking, Brettj3876, blairandgretchen and 2 others Thank this. -
Klleetrucking, LoSt_AgAiN, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this.
