I did most of these pulling a dry box too(except washouts). Dry boxes might do more drop/hooks, but they also have to deal with places like paper mills that won't load reefer trailers. Besides, after pulling a glass trailer the last 3 years, my sleep world has moved to more of a 2 am wakeup schedule anyway.Casimir66, Lonesome and Dale thompson Thank this.

Not a lot of options to make the money I need and not spend a lot of it on health insurance. Even with the issues I had with Crete before, they saw me thru the great '08 recession without getting behind on any bills, and I think another one is coming after the election, no matter which side wins.Casimir66, runningman0661, Lonesome and 4 others Thank this.

It won't be sleeping with a reefer. I worked for Magnum for 1 1/2 yrs. The best nights sleep since I left there was when I parked next to a Shaffer with a Carrier unit. My whole truck vibrated like a massage chair all night.Last edited: Oct 12, 2020
