I’m going to try to throw them on today, but if I am as busy as yesterday they may have to wait, even though it’s just a wipe, cut, plug. Zip tie or two and done, or so it appears to me.
I’ve got a good set of cutters so that won’t be a problem.
The problem is no scale around to axle it to calibrate, I know my empty weight from full- half tank, but I’ve never asked (edit axled it out empty)
I must be a slacker..
I can guess a rough estimation of and be close, they’re thinking 3 days of corn hauling and they’ll be done with it, and we’ll go to soybeans to west Memphis and I’ll be able to get accurate axle.Last edited: Oct 15, 2020

Ok, put the sensors on.
Took maybe 5 minutes, most was looking for my cutters.
Recommended for cutting airlines.
Remember to take the plastic off from back of battery, hook it all together,
I just need a scale to axle out on.
And there’s never one near when you really need it.D.Tibbitt, Dale thompson, LoSt_AgAiN and 1 other person Thank this. -
That looks a lot like a pvc cutter.
D.Tibbitt, LoSt_AgAiN, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
Similar cutters are used on PVC piping. They are nice I must admit.

I should be outside in the garage finishing the engine. Money ran out so I cant afford the coolant hoses ($75 for 5 hoses). So what ever start up will only be for a minute or so. One of the head aches when taking apart the engine. There is a coolant fitting above the injector pump that doesnt allow circulation. The block still had water, so I hooked up a hose on that fitting so the water would drain there. I tipped the engine and no water came out that fitting. The plan is to remove the fitting, make a garden hose adapter and back flush the system with house pressure. There was alot of mud in the system. Thinking the radiator might need to be replaced. As the mud may be numerous doses of stop leak that settled around the cylinders.
I will be able to afford the hoses eventually. Just a matter of not spending the home moneys used in groceries. Tho the pickup needs an oil pan on Monday the 26th (might be 4 hours at the garage). As well as a doctors appointment a week after. Everyone wants the money. Isnt life fun? Well it is a fun challenge to me.D.Tibbitt, dwells40, Dale thompson and 2 others Thank this. -
