Try putting a little effort into eating real food. Stay away from processed foods, energy drinks and sugar.
It’s not that difficult to do on the road.
Every restaurant has healthy choices, you just need to look.
When you go to the grocery store shop on the outside aisles where they keep the fresh, real foods.
But if you can’t put forth a little effort to eat real food,(not the processed crap) no pills or supplements will do you any good.tarmadilo Thanks this. -
Seems to me, all these over the counter weight loss drugs are total bs if you do research on reputable medical resource sites, such a WebMD and similar. So, I wouldn't look to or rely on any of those to lose weight. Some of it is basic physics, you have to expend more energy than you take in. Unfortunately, the body is very complicated and it, in practice, is far from that simple. But, eat less, eat better, be more physically active, consider when you consume calories, etc. Is probably the wisest choices to consider and implement to lose weight.
Some use different diets like no and low carb diets, or low fat diets. There are a huge plethora of diets promoted. I think different things will work for different folks in regards to some structured diets.
I've been overweight for way too long and struggled, unsuccessfully, for years until I started driving a truck. In the beginning it was really stressful and I ended up losing around 20 lbs in my first 2 months on the road from the stress. About the 3rd month the stress level declined and I've tried to continue losing weight. In the next 6 months, I managed to lose another 25 lbs. In the last 3 months, I haven't really lost any more, but, just as importantly, I haven't gained any either. I've just tried to eat less, eat better, not eat too much late at night. I haven't taken any diet pills or followed any particular diet. Just tried to be conscience and follow common sense. Not easy but it is working. I would really like to lose another 35 to 45 lbs and than I'll be at what they say I'm supposed to weigh. As it is, definitely feel better since losing the 45 lbs I've lost. I'm no longer considered obese.
It ain't easy, but I think it is not impossible. Good Luck to you!!!Dino soar and asphaltcowboy4x4 Thank this. -
First. Apologies for my tone.
Second: Look up intermittent fasting. It’s more how our bodies evolved and has a ton of health benefits. You only need to eat once a day, really, or only during a 3-4 hour window.
Way better for your body, and really easy habit to form. Will almost always be operating on a caloric deficit, too.asphaltcowboy4x4 Thanks this. -
In the oilfield, I was slim, trim, and strong. After it collapsed this time, and I sat on my butt for months, I started getting a belly. Get a dehydrator, and make jerky and dehydrated fruit for the road. Buy a case of bottled water. I've lost 14 lbs in the last three weeks.

I wouldn’t advise this, but I pulled flatbed for
3-5 years and I chewed Copenhagen as well. It was always nice to put a dip in when I was tired or hungry. Helped keep me slim.God prefers Diesels and Crude Truckin' Thank this. -
Meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, nuts, seeds, as per Kevin Rutherford.

Drink water, only water.
Eat fresh fruit and vegetables.
Eat complex carbohydrates and lean protein... brown rice, oats, lentils, beans, chicken and fish.
Don't eat anything with ingredients you cant pronounce or more ingredients than you can count on one hand.
3,500 calories is equal to 1 lb. of body fat. Don't eat calorie dense food if you aren't physically active. Eat fewer calories than you burn and you'll lose weight at the rate of 3,500 calories per lb.Midwest Trucker and Crude Truckin' Thank this. -
Why would you recommend using complex carbs (long acting fuel for the body) when most drivers sit on their behind..
And can't burn it off...? -
Dinner today but I.....
