all the other lube oils were bottom sampled. you brought in the bottle and the poured it in a pan and set it on the burner...no cackle = no water, sign here and don't let the door hit 'ya...

Transformer oil needed two really big bottles and the lab drove over to get it.

I loaded at Exxon-Mobil in Baytown pretty regular. Scale in, get loaded then back out to wait while the lab ran the sample. 5 hours total was average. One time they had me come beck in under the rack so they could get another sample. Was crazy. Loaded the same product at Holly Frontier in Tulsa. Took maybe 30 minutes for the sample. They didn't like paying demurrage and their lab guys knew it.

One place we deliver to has 2 caustic tanks, one behind their building and one across the street. To fill the one behind the building, you have to stretch out 5 hoses, and they only want you to put like 300 gallons in it. Then you have to blow out all your lines and out them all away, drive across the street and hook 2 of them back up to blow the rest off. It's a real pain, but we get $10 per hose lol

Just had a record 36hr wait to get dairy unloaded. Load before that was an 11hr dairy unload.

Remains to be seen if I get any detention pay. Rumor has it the company pays after 10hrs, but I got that from another driver and he couldn't say how much would be paid per hour. The company won't actually tell you, you just get "it varies".

Even if detention paid the same as I would make driving, I would still rather drive than sit around maxing out my cellphone data.
