What's it like to work at fedex ground? What's an average day like? Do you need a cdl with double and triple endorsements to drive as an ltl driver? If I had a class b cdl could I drive every truck besides there tractor trailers? Do they have lift gates or do they use ramps and carts?

FedEx Ground trucks running doubles are independent contractors. Those drivers are not working for FedEx. They are working for the contractor the owns the trucks.

I wonder if the FedEx ground drivers drive the step Van's and the box trucks... it seems like a good idea to strive for... are these vehicles owned by fedex?

All of FXG are contractors or subcontractors. Unless you wanna drive 1099, don't bother.

Fed Wrex ground ? Always flat on the floor and gotta back off my cruise so they can get around me .
Can always count on them to want half my lane .
Can also be counted on to be driving to fast for conditions and first to cause a road closure.

    homeskillet and blairandgretchen Thank this.

He's been asking questions for two years. He's had lots of answers.
He doesn't have a CDL yet and according to him has "problems" that may preclude ever having one.
Part of what we do here is answer questions. Sometimes we answer them over and over and over and....
