You might try Speedco or a TA if it's working ok.

They'll charge you about $100 compared to $400 at a dealer. And the only way to clear it is with a forced regen.

Then see if it comes back.

The dealers are so f'd. I'd REALLY try to find a Cummins.

The one problem I had with Casper was wiring harness ( supposedly) broken in the middle someplace. $1800 (dealer) in Washington, total crooks, replaced the entire aftertreatment wiring harness. 2 days.

That last problem with Blackie, the locks broke on the connector of one of the harnesses.

Dude repinned the harness with a new connector at a Detroit shop $360. 3 hours.

    Well.

it appears at 0045 there was this.. incident, and I-40 in Tennessee from about hwy 51/ Danny Thomas to Chelsea ave is wtf stopped.

It seems someone forgot to put this on the bulletin board.
Of course 55 to 240 midtown takes you around,
Or... first xit off 40 in TN go N passed the bass pro pyramid, they got AW Willis closed for construction.... so keep N.
It has a wtf 90 turn, doable but take all the room you can.
Stop sign go Left, that’s second street, run to Pear street go right(only way to
turn ) that takes you back to 51.
Bridge is backed halfway to AR

When you get some down time, like on a 34 somewhere with decent weather, you should pull the chains out and try putting them on. Make sure the chains are not broken and actually fit the truck. Get familiar with chaining up so if it ever comes to a situation where you have to chain, you will know how to do it. First time I ever put chains on was in the Marshalling yard for the convention center in Orlando, Fl. Had an extra day and I was bored. Had some guys laughing, but a couple old timers walked over and gave me some advice and saw that I did it right. Was a lot easier at 78 degrees wearing shorts and a t-shirt than it is in the snow, but at least I was comfortable with the basics.

Could be your DPF is getting full too. They can also tell you what % it's at.

Dealer going tell you it can't be cleaned. Too far gone. $1800 for a new one plus labor.

When it may just need baked. $2900 vs $900

In other words, they don't want you on the open road using chains. There will come a time when you will need the traction to get into or out of a dock or possibly get from the truckstop to the delivery when chains are required by local rules.

Some of the older docks are basically a cut into the ground, the "pit" is concrete so it collects water and snow, then freezes...you will want chains on at least the primary drive trire before going into the dock since those generally don't have much room for you to apply the chain(s).
here is a link to my video I did afew years ago....it has 5 sections
