Hi, I have 8 years CDL A exp, but was always driving with husband before, so could use that extra assist every now and then for backing mostly. Looking at Transport America, already accepted. Automatic trucks.. Dedicated loads mostly from El Paso, through the southern states. Im in San Antonio.. I have a small non shedding dog, she's very used to the road. She would need the bottom bunk with me.
Must be easy going, responsible, respectful.
Ave time out 2-3 was then few days home time.

Looking for the right match, preferably female or with a VERY good connection, could possibly be male.

I've been on the road for 9 yrs, CDL for 8, no endorsements. Im 50 yrs old. Non smoker. My record is clean! Yours should be too with at least 6 mths OTR EXP.

Send me your email, only serious inquiries please. Remember we would be in this small space together. So connection is everything.

No way is some smelly trucker sleeping in my bunk while i am driving .
You have to figure out at the beginning who gets what bunk at that is how its gonna stay for as long as we have that truck.
Every new truck, you decide anew who gets what bunk.

Does your company not have bed restraints? You are supposed to have a net that you click on over you while the truck in in motion.
There is on on each bunk in every truck I have driven

Thats what I thought also. I'll have to check on that. I'm not familiar because I was always driven with my spouse and never been a company driver.
My thought was the whole cleanliness factor especially in the very beginning because this is a complete stranger. 2nd, my dog will be jumping up in the bed. Thats what she's always done. So I'm pretty sure my co driver doesn't want my dog sleeping with them and visa versa. Lol.

Not sure who you are calling selfish, BUT if there is a clash then that other person can post their own ad with that they want for themselves right? Thats why its called "making sure you find the right teammate". I dont know anyone (especially a female) who would just allow a perfect stranger male to sleep in her bed.
Thats why I posted that I'd prefer a FEMALE co driver and even with that, not everyone thinks the same way about cleanliness.
That's why my ad says "looking for" and not "desperate for".
Plus this person didn't even introduce himself.
So I think the question was meant to agitate anyway.

It's illegal to be in the top bunk without restraints. Personally I'd just have separate sleeping bags you put over the bottom bunk each shift. Pretty easy and much safer.
