What if it Snows?

I was going to call b.s. because the skies are mostly clear. Then I looked outside. Yep they are clear but cool. Down here it's warmed up from freezing @ sunup to 42 at 1130.

 

I'll be glad when this covid crap settles down. Haven't been to Hawaii in over 2 years and the wife and I miss it. Fresh caught ahi and shrimp on the grill sounds good right now. I hear it's been like a ghost town over there all year since they haven't allowed anybody in without a 14 day quarantine.

 

Sounds like it's time to take a month. 2 weeks quarantine and 2 weeks of good life.....

Of course you will most likely be ostracized as a tainted mainlander.

. I can’t help you I fell into this because 2 others fell out. This job was on craigs list which I was checking on a lark. Yesterday was almost a full day I left home and came to Madison Wi (just shy of 400 miles) get up in the morning for a presentation at 08:00 4 miles from the hotel finished at 11:30 now dragging my feet going to Plymouth Wi.

 

Being looked down upon by the locals is just part of the charm over there. Me and my extended family own a house on the windward side of Oahu, and everywhere we go to eat out is a locals joint, so you get use to the sneers. It's nothing that buying a couple rounds of beers won't fix though.

I hear that. The local surfers were constantly introducing me to folks from the island so I could be introduced around as an O.K. guy if I ever went over.

Problem is I do not swim so have no desire to be on a ship or flying over the water, Nor confined with that many people on a glorified bus. At least with I bus I can jump out the window (even at Highway speeds) and maybe survive. The trips over and back would be torture for me....

 

For those of you whom observe the ending of daylight savings time.
November 1st. That is until we get a leader whom actually gets rid of it.
