I haul waste from produce out here in washington and most of the driving is on these narrow, beat up, ####ty country roads that can barely fit 2 cars on with ditch banks and power poles on every corner of every road. Im using an old ####ty worn out freightliner with ####ty old mirrors and ####ty windows.
When im trying to make right turns on these super narrow roads with no street lights, i can't even see the where my trailer is going, if i cut it too short the trailer will land in a ditch, both lanes on each road could barely fit the truck itself sideways on, im running 53ft side dumps and i have to get right up on these side roads to dump

My question is does anyone have any ideas on how i can make these turns and be able to see where my trailer is going, all i can see if just the little red marker light at the back of the trailer, i cant see the stop sign i just passed, cant see the ditch bank, cant hardly see #### but im doing 12 loads a night and i dont wanna #### up and side swipe a power pole or hit a stop sign or tip the trailer over in a ditch. And as a reminder the trucks got ####ty windows, ####ty mirrows, there are no street lights, no lights anywhere around me to help me see.

    Only one idea...
    Stop running at night.

Get a handhelf flashlight and shine it in the mirror when ur turning. Or go to the truckstop and get a cheap utility light and wire it up

Is it your truck and trailer ? So you can mount lights.....?

I’ve got 4 clear work spot lights mounted behind the cab. 1 at 90 degrees and 1 at 45 degrees on both sides. With separate switch’s .... you could mount them under the trailer too.....
They turn night into day ...:)

Roll down the window and try it ... thats what i use to keep an eye my straps at night while driving....just get a cheap utility light at the truckstop that aims down the side of ur trailer . Its like 15 bucks and a couple hours worth of wiring into a spare switch
