What’s the worst tank wash you’ve been to (location, getting in/out, parking)?
I’m still fairly new but i’ve been to a heap of washes so far being OTR. Would like to hear from you vets so I can lookout/plan for getting to future washes that are worth noting.
my #1 & 2 so far are:
#1 - Quala (Chicago on 120th)
will never go in there at night lookin for a pickup unless i have to due to hours left. There are drop signs but its crazy trying to get in and out of there. And the frontage road into there i nearly flew outta my seat on one bad drop goin in at 2am.
#2 - Express (Keasbey NJ off Smith Road)
This place is a nightmare for a noob to find. Looks like a good place to get fed to the fishes . Yard is not that easy to get in/out of either. I won’t be staying overnight here again.

I watched the super bowl there once.
Express in Keasby does suck getting in, gotta go passed then the turnaround and down the hill under the bridge.
Usually can’t find anywhere to park there.
The one in Birmingham is tricky, it’s actually in Bessemer off 18th street.
Cincinnati Qualawash is weird.
One way had a sign “No Hazmat Route.” I think it’s from the South side.
It’s been a couple years.Last edited: Nov 6, 2020

Running hazmat to Cincinnati tomorrow so will prob end up at Quala.
yeah somebody said the Chicago Quala driver room had the roof ripped off by a storm or something. Still had the port o johns outside there but i think its all fixed inside. Saw the pool table there. I went to the door but didnt realize or see the lock code was written in ink on it so just walked back to my truck.
I bet it was kickin around there back when that huge strip joint on Notty was kickin. -
