Don’t slap that mosquito in Fayetteville.
Technically this municipal law stated that you couldn’t kill “any living creature”within the Fayetteville city limits. While it’s certainly a nice sentiment, we’re not throwing away the bug spray anytime soon.
Arkansas still has weird laws.

Livin' the dream today.. none of my trucks were on the road. I helped out a bunch of trucks at our local fuel stop by plowing them a way out with my plow truck. I wish I'd gotten a picture.. it was a mess. 16" of wet snow in 10 hours.. still coming down.

Some of those are pretty much only accessible by air. Many are dry where possession of alcohol can get you in trouble and others damp, where you can possess it but can't be sold. The native villages are really strict as alcohol fueled domestic violence caused a lot of problems. The guy I worked for in Fairbanks had a liquor store that packaged up beer/wine/liquor orders and had them at the air freight terminal every afternoon.
And number 22, North Pole is actually like a suburb of Fairbanks.Chinatown Thanks this. -
If you are looking for a job and reasonable weather (for Alaska), Palmer and Wasilla are where it's at. Soldotna and Kenai would be my second choices. Seward is awesome, on the ocean and the road system, but expensive and limited employment; same goes for Homer. Anchorage really isn't that bad for a city. For those of us that like rural Alaska.. it's just another city.
Chinatown Thanks this.
