It's the typical insecure trucker response. "They are desperate they will hire you". Are you not smart enough to judge drivers individually? Or even look at Swift statistics overall? Trucking is the perfect study for the Dunning- Kruger effect....where the stupidest people are the most opinionated.

Wal-Mart isn't that desperate to hire just any driver. Now if you fit the requirements, come aboard. But it doesn't matter what company you drive for currently or have driven for previously, there's no getting around 36 consecutive months safe driving.

I really don't see how insecurity would have anything to do with that type of response. And could you please quote my post where I said you were a bad driver? Or where I said Swift drivers are terrible people? I don't know you at all. You could be the best truck driver since Paul Brandon. Then again, my 6-month-old puppy might be able to drive a truck backward better than you can drive it going forward. But again and for the last time, I don't care. What I did state was that Swift is the epitome of what's wrong with the trucking industry. And that, I stand behind 100%

You asked if Walmart hired Swift drivers. There's a reason why you asked such a pointed question. Instead of looking at the Dunning-Kruger effect, perhaps Occam's razor would be more fitting

If I park next to an open space, my first and only thought is, as I close the curtains, "I hope a Swift/CR England/reverse beep jockey/ driver does not park next to me"...

To the OP: . . . . . Experience is experience. With a clean record, and TBH, 3 years in one company is the excellent exception, something that companies LOVE to see... you can write your own ticket, and you have no reason to worry about a job ever again. Keep up the good work!
