If you cover that kingpin lock with a plastic grocery bag before you put it over the pin, you can still lock it. Then when you take it off, your lock is grease free. Just wear gloves when you pull the greasy bag of and dispose of it.Cattleman84, InTooDeep, Sirscrapntruckalot and 11 others Thank this.

I put it in paper towels. But I like your idea tooCattleman84, homeskillet, lovesthedrive and 4 others Thank this.

I used to trim the bag so it just covered the lock. Otherwise the wind would blow it around and cover it in grease. Had to use the lock several times on those high $$ loads when I was with Landstar.Cattleman84, InTooDeep, homeskillet and 6 others Thank this.

I'm in camping mode. I fired up my predator generator. Have the rice cooker on and the 8 amp trickle charger, to keep batteries up. Rice cooker to the generator. I have to run the truck too often if I sit for more than a night to run the bunk heater all the time.

So 2 years ago I sold the house in Florida and loaded up my old hotrod boat that my brother designed and we used to manufacture
. Packed it to the gills with 2 motors , 4 outdrives and enough boat parts and tools to build 4 more.
Along with engine hoist, engine stands, floor jacks and ladders and stainless to build another trailer all strapped on the trailer also.
Loaded it on my big aluminum trailer with the intent of towing it up to Florida, But after weighing it in at 11 thousand I decided not to torture the Pathfinder and my logistics buddy got it thrown on a flatbed for 1500 bucks.
It’s been sitting packed on the trailer up here in Michigan for 2 years while I sort out my life and where I wanta live.
And though I don’t want to live in Michigan I have plenty of free storage so it was time to unload it.
So now I have this mess scattered everywhere
Everything was just loosely packed in the boat to get it all to fit and it is all total disarray
So now it’s time to organize and build shelving so I can sleep at nightCattleman84, homeskillet, austinmike and 5 others Thank this. -
