Wasn’t real impressed with the OSB vinyl sided pole barn at first

But at 30 degrees I have been able to heat it up to 65 after the stuff inside absorbs the heat from my little $200 80 thousand btu torpedo heater.

Helps that the garage doors are quality insulated doors mounted good with tight seal.

But at 10. Degrees heater struggles. Biggest loss of heat was through the trusses where there is a 4 inch gap to the vented soffit out side and the five 3-3 single pane windows

$34 in foil back foam and a couple hours and a 100 trips up the ladder and we are 99.7 % airtight.

Big difference in holding heat now. Heater shuts down at 65 in 10 degrees now.

I would never own a metal building too much insulation costs to try to heat it

If I closed up the ceiling with $700 of foil backed foam panels it would be good to zero but don’t plan on being up here in zero.
