Yeah. Alot of the time I run late night going that way. It's cool to park there. Parking for about 30 trucks.

Good possibility of Brownsville being open. Them clowns don't play.
You can also bet on the cocaine cowboys sitting in the middle between the 35 and town. If they stop you your gettin searched less your really good. Memphis isn't bad .. but be on your toes, have your I's dotted and T's crossed

I haven't been to Memphis in a while.

One thing I recall is that lot lizards are more available in that area. Rather like Atlanta, GA.
Memphis is not a good area for anything.
Unless you partake in lot lizards.

Anybody running over the Holidays is a fool.

Why not sit at home, feet up by the fire partake in some Christmas cheer with the family?

If they try to force dispatch you, tell them F U. Forced dispatch is illegal. Say you are fatigued, have everything in writing then call the State Police.

As far as Memphis, coming out I always take Lamar Ave US 78 N/W, 176 N, 240 Loop East then 40 East.

Coming out you will see a lot of drug crazies going 100 MPH. Ignore them just keep rolling. If anyone cuts you off give them the middle finger.

Run to Memphis was successful. Been through Knoxville before but haven’t been on I40 to Nashville for awhile and 1st time to Memphis. Ran over the weekend. Most weigh stations were closed. You could’ve fooled me there is a pandemic. Traffic was heavy. I noticed, especially between Knoxville and Memphis that people run in packs. A large pack and then it tails off till the next one. I also noticed that they like to ride on each other’s rear end of are speeding and weaving in and out like crazy’s. Was cut off a few times. At the place I delivered in Memphis I was talking to the manager I mentioned about hearing of the crime in the area. He said he’s been the manager there for 4 years and has seen 3 dead bodies by his location. He said they are sometimes dumped there. I finished up and got out of there. Hopefully not going back for a long time. Other than that uneventful. Thanks to all for your input.

Remember, dispatch is not your boss. They are only CO-WORKERS. You can go tell them to F-off in a corner somewhere.

Forced dispatch is illegal. If they try to coerce you and drive fatigued call the State Police. Make sure to say you will press charges.

Most drivers are fools these days with no backbone or common sense, never mind education.

Memphis can be tough during the Holidays. If I were the OP I would refuse to do the load. F 'EM!

Have you even read any of the thread or do you just enjoy mouthing off incessantly? OP has already delivered and gone.

Last one I saw you chime in on you were blaming the guy that got his truck backed over, for simply being parked.
