    Managed to score an empty at Lincoln. The guy who dropped it wasn’t so lucky. He was supposed to pick up a t-call that turned out to be hooked to a truck nobody had keys for. Watching a wrecker hook up to it now.

    How did the shop not have a key? Or was there nobody in the shop? I would expect at least one person in the shop in case of something like a lockout or some such.

    I get that, but having absolutely nobody in the shop at company HQ seems like someone dropped the ball. The Lincoln yard/shop is a busy place, and it makes no sense to ever have it be completely empty. Even if it's just a single person and they are not allowed to do any maintenance for safety reasons, they could still do inventory, organize stuff, catch up on paperwork, and access keys.
