Note to self:
Always check the weather before paying for a truck wash.
Truck is all shiny, and tomorrow where I’m headed is a 70% chance of snow. I’m super smart.
What if it Snows?

if you do a HG or inframe, have the mechanic make sure the spacer plate is the same thickness all the way along.
most people just set the liner protrusion at the max limit then crank the head down. doesnt solve the varying claming loads on each liner when that spacer isnt right.

My friend lived in Phoenix and Mesa for 5 years after getting out of the Army. Now he was a little messed in the head (he'd tell you the same) and brought a young woman from the sticks up near ft drum with him. To marry and have a baby and have her unable to adapt to that lifestyle/climate... leave, take the kid back home etc etc. Standard Army story.
Watching him over the years...well no love lost on that angry filthy he'll hole from me.
Finally he met a lady from from Colorado Springs and moved. He's much happier now and even he says he couldn't understand why I kept telling him to get out of there but now he gets it.
Don't know where you live now but that's not the most hospitable environment...

It’s 09 Cummins Isx 455 st
The guy I let work on my stuff is great on the DD15 and Dd13, he used to work at Freightliner, but he moved back to be close to family and got tired of 100 mile commute, he is pretty good on isx too, he kept my last one running, it had 909k.
i like that I don’t have to oversee what he does, he still takes pride in his work and don’t like to shortcut because it brings bad reflection on him and his work, I learned a long time ago, you can’t shortcut a truck, it’ll come back to bite you and cost you more in the long run.LoSt_AgAiN, Rideandrepair, lovesthedrive and 8 others Thank this.
