Greetings, I am currently in Knoxville, TN, and I'm looking to change to possibly LTL.
I'm at a job where I'm not making nearly as much as I thought, but I've heard that LTL is the way to go.
Wednesday I'm getting my doubles/HAZ endorsements and I'm wanting to hopefully get in at Old Dominion as I've heard good things about them. And obviously UPS/FEDEX is a driver's dream job.
I do have 6 years driving experience, and the reason I posted here is because I'm having a moment where I feel that I am transitioning to a "new" area of trucking (hopefully).
My questions aee, is there any LTL companies that would pick me up? And if so, should I apply before I get my endorsements or after? I figure after so my application isn't overlooked.
Any recommendations of LTL union/nonunion outfits I should look for in Knoxville?
@Chinatown I know you're good with this stuff and haven't spoken since our last time lol I went to the oilfields and it was great
Looking to move careers.

My brother works for ABF and loves it. He recently said they needed drivers. Also, it's a union gig.

Doesn't Averitt have a terminal there? You could probably run for there Local/LTL division
