Ya, we all been there, but I had to laugh! A couple days ago, Washington State, EB I-90 MP 40something on TV. News crew beside the highway, heading up Snoqualmie Pass - one of the easiest passes in the country. The road is bare & wet but a little snow above, tops out at 3,000'. There goes a Walmart truck - chained up on all four drivers. And a drag chain on the right rear of the trailer. I'm gonna guess - since there was chains on all the drivers - that there was a chain on the left rear of the trailer too. Yes, the chain sign was out for the big trucks. But really? All four drivers AND a drag chain(s)!?!?!?! Musta been fresh out of school and an idiot trainer teaching him how to "hang the jewelry". While he sat on his butt and watched, probably.

Of all the passes I run Snoqualmie makes me the most nervous. I don't know why, just seems like you're the last man alive in Siberia to me. And it's so low compared to all the Rocky Mtn. passes.
