I've been using final charge, from Menards. Seems the best deals are right in my own backyard. Good to know.

I have been buying my trucks from the local dealer inland kenworth I did price shop out of town dealers and had them match the price. I'm sure I could save a little more out of town but I think the local dealer seeing me as customer for all their service has a bigger value than just a guy that needs warranty service.
how much do you save buying out of town

We'll see what happens with our 2021 T880. So far, so good after two months of Alaska winter.

Most normal lead batteries are made by either Deka/East Penn, or Johnson control/Interstate. I’ve been to the Johnson Control plant in Toledo, and the Deka plant in Pa. Deka/ East Penn is by far the biggest and maybe the best wet lead batteries. The Toledo plant had a line that split, every other battery was a tagged either a Die hard Gold, or Interstate. Same battery.

It's not just KW, I have a 2021 Cascadia, and when it's on opti-idle, it starts 2 or 3 times a night on battery(charge) mode with just the bunk heater and my phone charger (running off the factory inverter)

The Glider only came with three batteries. I usually only would get a year or so out of them. I switched to Energizer AGM Marine batteries and am going on almost two years! This with them getting drained down far on hometime as l run my fridge and cameras while parked. My APU is down so l go and crank it everyday l am home. Considering adding rooftop solar panels like you see on some fleets now but BusGreaseMonkey on YouTube says he has heard of heat issues with the curved panels. I also have considered adding a flat raised panel to the cab roof of it, the flat front cab roof over the seats. I have read the AGM batteries are better and safer as it is gel instead of liquid acid.

Sorry not buying that, you call the closest dealers they are all in the same system and are obliged to uphold the warranty on the trucks. If they refuse, call KW customer service and open up a complaint. And call the sales dweeb who sold the trucks to you to tell him what is going on and how upset you are.

also buy some maxwell starting units for the trucks, they will help you keep your batteries going longer.
